WFD Sector Champions!

I am incredibly proud to announce that 235 (City of Stoke on Trent) Squadron has been placed 7th overall at Wing Field Day, and was the top placed Central Sector Squadron. This is an improvement of 20 places from last years 27th position. We had 4 top 10 placements; 2nd in Banner Drill, 7th in Drill, 10th in First Aid and 5th in Media. This is a massive achievement for the squadron and establishes a foundation to launch ourselves into the top 5 next year. I would like to highlight the efforts of CWO Antoni Sadula who single-handedly prepared our Drill and Banner Drill teams for this years competition, as well as demonstrating an incredibly high standard of drill himself, and CI Emma Blackband, who spent a large amount of time training and helping the media team prepare this years entry which helped us achieve a top 5 finish in media this year.

As the Commanding Officer at 235 Squadron I am thrilled that my first year in Command is marked by our best performance in a long time at Wing Field Day, and I am incredibly proud of all the cadets and staff at 235 Squadron.
