Within 235 (City of Stoke on Trent) Squadron we have a number of Cadet NCO's, these are cadets who are placed in leadership positions on the squadron, responsible for the training, development, and support of younger Cadets. Unlike the classification system, promotion to NCO ranks is based purely on merit. Promotion at 235 Squadron is done through an application and interview process, with staff and other cadet NCO's choosing cadets who they feel are the most experienced and best placed to act as role models for the others on squadron.
