It’s that time of year again; Wing Field Day 2016. The Squadron is well prepared, and we have set our sights on our best year yet. Our media entries are all in (check out are video in the “Videos” section of the page if you haven’t seen it yet!), our models are ready, our drill teams are ready, our shooting team has shot and our first aid and air recce teams are prepped.
The weekend begins with our First Aid Team beginning at 0945hrs tomorrow morning, in addition 4 of our NCO’s are taking part in the armed flight of the final parade, so will be spending tomorrow practicing. Meanwhile Fg Off Holloway will be heading up to MOD 4 Site with Sqn Ldr Kaufman with the mobile climbing wall. Then on Sunday with a horrendous start time of 0645hrs the squadron’s drill, banner drill, and Air Recce team will head over to MOD Stafford No.4 Site to compete in Wing Field Day 2016. CI Blackband will be managing the team, whilst Fg Off Holloway runs the climbing wall all day. Good luck to everyone involved, I have no doubt this will be our best year ever, and a great opportunity to show why we are the best squadron in Staffordshire Wing 2015/2016.
