Wing Torch arrives at 235 Sqn

235 (City of Stoke on Trent) Squadron were please to receive the Wing Torch from 435 Squadron this evening. 435 Squadron marched into 235 Squadron at 2030hrs last night, lead by a hand constructed model of a spitfire mounted to the roof of a car. Fg Off Holloway received the torch from OC 435 Sqn - Flt Lt Gibson. 235 will now spend a week with the torch taking pictures of it with various Stoke on Trent landmarks before exchanging it with 239 (Longton) Squadron next week. The Wing torch is touring all the squadrons within Staffordshire Wing to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Air Training Corps this year.
