After 17 Years in Staffordshire Wing; 7 as a cadet and 10 as staff, WO Amanda McHenry tonight completed her final evening at 235 Squadron before moving on to pastures new in the South of the UK. WO McHenry has spent 7 years at 235 Squadron, supporting the development of cadets and NCO’s, with a huge focus on the improvement of drill across the squadron. In her latter 2 years at the squadron WO McHenry was also acting as the Sector Warrant Officer for Central Sector. This evening the squadron gave Warrant Officer McHenry a great send off, with a disco and buffet, before presenting her with several gifts and cards.

I would like to offer my personal thanks to WO McHenry for her support during my time at 235 Squadron, and the squadron and myself with her the very best in her future adventures. “Once a reaper, always a reaper”.
